Tone + Lennart

Tone and Lennart are the perfect “childhood sweethearts” story.
They met in school in the early teens, and quickly noticed one another, now after 12 years they finally got married, and I was there to capture the day.

I know this couple from before, and this wedding was extra special to me as it was all set in my hometown Salhus, a beautiful place on the edge of Bergen.
Salhus has a certain charm that I’m very proud of. Despite its small size it is packed with culture with its museum, streets and musicians who have their base here.
They got married in Salhus kirke, the local church ,and their wedding-party was being hosted in the museum (Norsk Trikotagemuseum) all in the spirit of Salhus.

Before the dinner party started I took the couple with me to do their oficial wedding picturesa, and the sky opened up and gave us a very wet canvas to work with. This didnt bother the newlyweds at all, and we continued the photoshoot with laughter and smiles - rain on your wedding day does mean good luck after all.

I had such a good time photographing their day, and it was so good to work from home.
