ROOTS
Back to my roots
Usually at this time, I am photographing weddings and portraits non stop.
But this year, because of Covid-19, I have time off for the first time in forever.
So this weekend I decided to travel with my family to Kvamsøya, a small island by the Norwegian coast.
I grew up coming here every summer as a child, And each year I yearn to go back. It’s just not the same if I can spend my summer here. But working as a wedding photographer means that your weekends are usually booked.
This is the place that my soul goes when it wanders, and where it truly belongs. And I walk around in a constant meditative state. I feel at home and at ease.
Last night I took some pictures of small but beautiful things, so that I don’t forget.
I hope you enjoy them too.
