Karen + Tong (HK) Pre-Wedding by the Sognefjord
Karen and Tong came all the way from Hong Kong to Norway to have their pre-wedding photos done. And I was the very lucky photographer to join them.
Karen fell in love with Norway when she was here a few years ago, and she knew this was where she wanted to take her wedding pictures.
For this Pre-Wedding I assembbled a team for the day. With me I had the very talented makeup artist Martin Gustavsen, and Hair Sylist Lena Skjold.
We traveled from Bergen to Aurland and started our jorney at 4 AM.
When we got to Aurland the team got busy styling and getting rthe make up ready, in the mean time André and I went for a drive to pick out locations. We had already done a virtual tour on google Maps before the day, and roughly knew where we wanted to start.
Aurland and Sognefjorden is the absolute perfect place to have your wedding pictures taken. You have majestic mountains and deep and beautiful fjords. What more do you need?
The weather this day was damp and cloudy, and it made for real interesting and moody weddingphotos. It also came with some challenges, but luckily the rain didn’t come until the very last hour of us shooting.
We spent the entire day together, and it was such an adventure for all of us.
